...you never know where you might see Raegan sleeping...
You never know where you may find Raegan sneaking in a nap. Now that she pulls herself up on everything and crawls all over the place, she expends a lot of energy at daycare. Rather than let someone know she needs a nap, she likes to catch a few 'Z's where ever she's playing... even if it's while standing up or playing in the middle of the floor.
Raegan's Christmas loot
Raegan got a lot of things that she enjoys playing with at Christmas. She has really enjoyed playing with this car that she got from Nana and Papa. At first she was really awkward on it but she is getting better and better at pushing it around.
She can even sit on the car now and not fall off!
Raegan really likes playing with the piano she got from her great-grandparents while playing with the music table she already had. She already has the right look for playing keyboard in a band.
The thing Raegan wanted most for Christmas, she got. Her 2 front teeth! This isn't the best shot... so I'll try to get a better picture and post it. This is all she wanted because her boy across the street, Drew, is only 10 days older than her and he got his a long time ago. Well... she's catching-up now... thanks to Santa!

Christmas with Grammy and Granddad
On Christmas morning we got up and put Raegan into her Christmas dress and let her open her gift of wrapping paper. There was nothing in it... but we figured for her first year, she wouldn't care about anything more than the paper itself.
...of course with the look she gave us in this picture... we realized she might have expected more than paper.
Once we got to Hannah's parent's house, they immediately let Raegan play with her gift from Hannah's granddad. It's a piano that Raegan really seems to love.
Raegan enjoyed a lot of attention from all of her aunts, uncles and grandparents. She tried to get to her gifts even when it wasn't her turn. We'll have to teach her some patience for situations like this.

I really didn't get many pictures of our time in Brewton. I think a lot of this had to do with the fact that our Christmas morning pictures were not too flattering of any of us since we had just gotten up. But we had a lot of fun down there and Raegan got some really cool toys! I'll add a picture of her coolest toy later.

Raegan's First Christmas!
Raegan really had fun exploring the Christmas tree. I think she was trying to figure out what was in the presents. I thought only older kids did that!
Various Things
Raegan watched her first Baby Einstein video. It seems true that babies love it. I wonder if there is something subliminal that keeps their attention. Those videos are really weird!
Raegan and her cousin Ava watched Auburn get beat by UGA. You can see that Raegan wasn't too thrilled at the outcome. The picture where she is by herself is before the game.

One of the big things that has happened through the holidays is that Raegan has begun crawling and she pulls herself up on everything. One of her favorite things to do is to crawl over to one of us, take our hands and pull herself up and then let us lead her walking through the house. It kills our backs but she loves it! See how happy she is as she takes Hannah's hands? We like her little feet in this picture too.

Raegan the Bear
Well it's been a while since we've updated our blog! The holidays kind of took us over. Raegan has done a lot of growing since we last posted an entry. One of the good things as the cold weather has come along is that we get to dress Raegan in this winter suit that makes her a really cuddly bear.
