...what happened is that the other day after getting home from work, I [Tony] couldn't find the camera. Then I remembered I took it into daycare to try to catch Raegan doing something cute. So I called the daycare and they couldn't find it. Then I remembered that when I was driving away from the daycare I heard a bump-bump-bump. At the time, I thought Raegan threw something in the backseat. But as I was thinking back I remembered I sat the camera on top of the car while I put Raegan in her seat. So I rushed back down to Chick-fil-A to see if I could find it on the side of the road. I found the case but the camera was not in it. The case looked like it had been run over. The next day, Brent from work helped me look again on the side of the road. He found the remains (above). So I guess it got run over pretty good. We couldn't find any other parts... not even the memory card. That really bothered me because there were pictures I had not transfered. Anyway... to shorten this story, my Director made a suggestion and Hannah made good follow-through. It turns out that since we bought the camera with our American Express card in the past 90 days... they'll credit our card for the amount we paid for the camera. They cover my carelessness! So we have now bought a new camera (though a little cheaper than the one I allowed to get run over). Sorry for the long story... but since our whole blog is centered around Raegan and capturing her life on pictures and videos... I had to mention our camera drama.

Our new camera...
We usually blog about Raegan. But since we mentioned before how we got a new camera, I had to share this. Below is a picture of our new camera...

Raegan's New Wagon
Raegan got a new wagon! She seems to like this way better than a stroller...

This wagon is cool because the canopy is removable and it has flip-up seats. It has 2 seats to accommodate Raegan and a friend - although neighbor Drew didn't really want to ride with Raegan the first go around. Raegan is demonstrating below how the seats work.

Raegan also likes how much leg room she has now. She can prop her feet all kinds of ways.

Raegan and Luci
Raegan and our dogs, Luci & Bristo have really been interacting more lately. I think they're all friends. Raegan even helps Luci check for food in her teeth.
We always thought that Luci may be a problem with Raegan because Luci is such a fiesty dog. She loves swimming at the Lake and standing on the edge of the seats on the boat while in motion. She loves chasing down lizards and chipmunks (and sometimes catches them). She barks at bigger dogs. She usually shows Bristo that she is the dominant dog. This video shows that Luci is willing to be submissive to Raegan... no matter how rough Raegan is with her. (Though I feel a little bad for Luci here, I'm impressed with Raegan's wrestling skills... and how she taunts her in the middle of the action! Raegan is just trying to get a decent hug!)
Father's Day Weekend at the Lake
I had my 2nd official Father's Day as a father myself! It was good. We went to the Lake for the weekend to see my Dad. Before we left, Raegan and Hannah gave me some gifts to add to the weekend. One of the gifts is a triathlon in October in Florida. Now that I've gotten into triathlons, I've really been wanting to do an Ocean Tri. So now I get to!
The Lake weekend was a lot of fun. My brother and his family went too. So Raegan got to hangout with her two cousins, Thomas and Ava. We have way too many good pictures to share... so we tried to narrow it down for the blog. It's still too many... but hopefully you'll enjoy!

This is the whole gang on the boat (after my brother & his family left)... I really just like how all the dogs are hanging around hoping Raegan drops one of her Teddy Grahams!

Raegan really seems to like Papa. She doesn't warm-up to people very quickly and we thought she would be skeptical of her own grandparents since she doesn't see them too often. But she immediately liked Papa. I guess she wanted to make sure he had a good Father's Day weekend. She even said "Papa"!

Nana got some quality time too. They enjoyed playing in the water together.

Raegan also had a lot of fun with her cousins, Thomas & Ava...

Raegan and Ava took a bath together. Ava thought it was a good moment for a kiss.

I was taking this picture of Hannah & Raegan on the pier and Luci darted across. I just thought it was funny how Luci is floating on the bottom of the picture.

OK... if you're not burned out on too many pictures all at once, here are some random happy & cute pictures of Raegan...

New Smyrna Beach Trip
Right after the triathlon, we headed for New Smyrna Beach, FL to stay in the Chick-fil-A condos. We are so lucky that Truett is nice enough to let his employees stay there for free!
Tony and I really felt like new parents - we had no idea how much LESS relaxing a vaction could be with a 1 year old! What happened to laying on the beach with a magazine and listening to music??
Mistake #1: driving to Florida during the day when Raegan would rather be playing
Mistake #2: taking a beach trip in May when the water is too cold for little babies to enjoy (Raegan likes her bath water temp!)
Mistake #3: Setting high expectations for a relaxing week at the beach.
Fortunately, my parents came down half-way through the week and gave us some down time. We enjoyed playing cards with them one night, and Tony and I had a "date" another night.
...and seemed to enjoy playing next to the pool much more than in it.
She even made a little friend at the pool (and they were kind of dressed alike!)
But she had the most fun inside the condo, wearing her sassy little swimsuit from Aunt Jennifer and puttin on her toy lipstick.
Raegan and Tony played the cutest game of peek-a-boo under and over the coffee table. She thought it was so funny.

Placeholder for Triathlon Pictures
Tony finished his first Olypmic distance Triathlon on May 17th: 2008 Peachtree International Triathlon. Distances: .93 mile swim, 25 mile bike and 6.2 mile run.
He did a great job, finishing in under 3 hours, which was his goal. He has become quite the athlete!
Raegan and I were there to cheer him on, along with Laura and Chandler Martin (cheering for Brad). Our camera wasn't taking very good pictures (or maybe it was the photographer?), so we decided to use the Martin's camera. I will add pictures from the day as soon as we get them.
By the way, we finally got a new camera, so hopefully our picture quality will improve!
