Ice Cream!!

Somehow... none of the pictures of Raegan & Hannah on Mother's Day turned out that good. (I think it was too windy today for outside pictures). We'll have to try for better pictures tomorrow. By-the-way... today is also the day Raegan turned 13 months. We're not sure we'll continue the Rae Bunny pictures so we don't have that to post either. Maybe we'll do that tomorrow if we decide to continue. Or if we decide to do something different.

We went out to get Gelato (which is Hannah's favorite) and we got Raegan her first ice cream cone. She ate it like a big girl! The whole thing and didn't even get messy! I guess she's like both her parents... loves ice cream!

Standing Ovation

Raegan has been toying with free-standing lately. She gets so proud of herself! For Mother's Day... she told me to get the camera ready because she wanted to give her Mommy a standing ovation - for being the best Mom in the world! (yes... that's still the beads from Brewton she is wearing. She loves putting those around her neck!)

She can also do tricks now - like hold her sippy-cup in her mouth while standing. But she's still not taking that first step. She wants to exhaust all tricks in this realm first.

Raegan's new dress

My Mom made a nice dress for Raegan. Raegan didn't really cooperate with modeling it. But between the 3 pictures below, you can see some of the nice details like her monogram on the front and on the bloomers.

Trip to Nana & Papa's house

Last weekend, we took Raegan down to my parents house where they kept Raegan for a day and a half so Hannah and I could go to Destin and celebrate our 6 year anniversary. So Raegan got to spend a lot of quality time with Nana and Papa.

You can see she was happy to be there.

One thing that Nana taught her was how to accessorize. For some reason my Mom has a lot of MardiGras beaded necklaces. Raegan loved them. It only took Nana showing her once how to put on a necklace and Raegan would find all of them and put them over her head and around her neck.

Raegan had so much fun playing with Nana and Papa that I don't think she even missed her parents!

I think she did grow a little while we were gone. This picture is of her pretending she is an adult with deep thoughts. At least that's what the picture looks like to me.
