Raegan being funny...

...OK... I just added a ton of pictures & writing below from this past week. But I just had to add this little video clip. It kind of reveals my level of maturity... but this is funny (sorry if you find it offensive). You have to turn your sound up and watch Raegan's face. (I had my camera turned backwards while I was driving and was recording her being silly. This is cut from the end of my video)

Raegan farted!

Weekly blogging...

OK... I committed last week to at least blog about the week at the end of each week. I'm not sure I'm a true blogger... because I think you're supposed to journal as you go. Saving it up like this makes a long blog entry. I'll keep the words few and the pictures plenty!

I also comitted to blog more about us all... and not just Raegan. Let's face it... at this stage in our life, it's all about Raegan anyway. This week... I don't think there has been much to speak of about us all. Tonight, Hannah is seeing "Wicked" at the Fox with her girl friends. And the only other things are captured with Raegan below.

Monday was picture day for Raegan at daycare. She didn't really cooperate. So after work, when I went to get her, they let me try to get her to be happy for the pictures. That didn't work either. I think she was scared of all the white in the backdrop... or maybe the white whicker chair. Anyway... when we got home, we tried to capture a couple pictures of her in her picture day outfit.

This same night... Raegan learned one of her most complicated words to date. "Chi-choo" (tissue). Below are pictures of where she is learning how to use "chi-choo". She can almost blow her own nose!

During the day on Friday, Hannah took Raegan to the Leary's house and Raegan got to play with Hannah Leary. It's a good thing Raegan knows my Hannah as "Mommy"... or that could have been confusing! They ate together and Hannah L. let Raegan play on her "Sit-N-Spin". (I don't have enough pics to post because I don't think Hannah gets as camera happy as I do...)

Saturday morning, Hannah, Raegan & I went to eat breakfast at Einstein Bros. Bagels. Hannah was craving it... & I like it too. Then we ran some errands... then played at the park with Raegan. It was a fun morning.

In the afternoon, Brian and I played tennis. Karen & Hannah brought Drew & Raegan down by the tennis courts to play a little before Raegan's nap. No holding hands this time.

Saturday evening, we dropped by the McCant's house for a few. Raegan got to play with Aidan some. Aidan even had two stand-up push toys... and he let Raegan borrow one so they could race around the house.

This morning, we went to my brother's church (Roswell Street Baptist)... where Jason was speaking at the Non-traditional service. My parents & Granny came up too. Jason did a really good job & spoke a very appropriate message about examining our reasons for doing the things we do. If you ever want to check-out my brother's blog... go to http://www.jasonmiley.wordpress.com/.

Anyway... after a ton of people told me at the church that I MUST be Jason's brother and oh how much alike we look... yada... yada... we went out to lunch. We went to Williamson Brother's BBQ. That is some good BBQ!

Anyway... after eating, Thomas led Raegan around the restaurant by hand. Raegan seemed to love Thomas' attention.

In the parking lot, I snagged some shots of Raegan with Nana & Granny.

I'm not sure what Nana is saying to the girls here... but they really seem to like it!

Nana gave Raegan a lollipop. Below are the stages of how an innocent gift can create a big mess!

Finally... late this afternoon, I took Raegan back to the park again. Below are a couple shots I think are cute.

This isn't the best shot of this... but lately when Raegan gets excited and starts running or walking fast... she puts her arms behind her like in the picture below. I wonder if she thinks she has a cape? Or maybe she is pretending her arms are the cape?

Another Fall Weekend...

Since our last post, we have a few things to share. Since I haven't been great at sticking with updating this, I think we'll try to just commit to a weekend update each week. And we'll recap some of the things that happened during the week.

One thing I didn't mention last week was that Hannah had a birthday! She and I got to go out to dinner while Grammy & GrandDad (Hannah's parents) came to our house and watched Raegan. Raegan had fun... but I don't have any pictures. We ate at Stoney River Steakhouse (it is sooo good).

Hannah had an Alta tennis match last Sunday afternoon and she played line 1 and won. (she played again today [Sunday] and it didn't turn out as well as last Sunday. But this was the last match of the season so Alta is over. Hannah is about to start her T2 season with Carrie as her partner.

We had a normal work week. On Monday I got recognized at work (along with many others) for 10 years of service at Chick-fil-A. Hannah came down and they had a little ceremony and lunch. And then on Friday Hannah and Raegan hung out for the day. Hannah got one picture from the day... it looks like they had a girly day.

Saturday, I got to go on a good bike ride on the Silver Comet in the morning. Then we took Raegan down and met Hannah's Mom for another Pumpkin Patch.

This place had all kinds of stuff and admission was only $4 per adult and Raegan was free. They had a hay ride, petting zoo, reptile exhibit, many other things that Raegan was too young for... and of course Pumpkins.

They had really little Pumpkins and really huge Pumpkins. Raegan was intrigued by some of the big Pumpkins but luckily, she picked-out a little one and carried it around the rest of the day. (she called it a "baaah" (ball)). You can see it in her hand in both of these picture... and probably every picture in the slideshow (below). When you look at the slideshow, you can play a game of where's the pumpkin.

Raegan enjoyed taunting animals in the petting zoo...

...and Raegan really had fun hanging out with her Grammy. Notice them looking in the fun mirror.

You can see the slideshow below for more pictures from the day.

Today while Hannah was playing her Alta match, Raegan and I hungout at a playground in Smyrna. There was an airshow going on from Dobbins and we had a great view of the jets flying over in formation. I don't think Raegan thought the jets were all that great... but I was fascinated (I didn't get a picture of the jets... but here are some pictures of Raegan playing - taken from my camera phone).

Finally... tonight we went to Buckhead Church (we usually go to the 11am service so we weren't sure how Raegan would do with childcare at the late service). Raegan seemed to really have fun.

OK... my attempt at recaping the week makes me realize that maybe I just need to pick the real highlights of the week. Hope I didn't lose you with too much info & pics!

...by the way... in 2 weeks we find out whether we're having a boy or girl for baby #2!!

Fall Festival - Sun Valley Beach

This weekend we went with our neighbors, the Cohen's, to a Fall Festival pretty close to our house.

Raegan got to hang out with her friend Drew. He lives across the street. You may remember him from earlier posts on this blog. He was born 9 days before Raegan. From our house now, Raegan knows where Drew lives. She will point to his house or even walk toward his house saying "Dwew". Sometime she will even run-up and peer into their sidelights. (she also likes their dog, Molly).

The other day, she went over to play...

...and we suggested they hold hands. And they did. They seemed to like it.

...of course everynow and then they had to stop holding hands and read their Sesame Street magazines and pretend everything was still plutonic.

...anyway... back to the Fall Festival this weekend. They still liked to hold hands. (of course we suggested they hold hands again... it's just too cute to see two little kids holding hands).

They even danced together to the tune of "Sweet Home Alabama"...

Besides hanging out with Drew, Raegan also hung out with me and Hannah. I introduced her to Mr. Scarecrow. (she wasn't scared).

...she showed me which Pumpkin she liked the best...

... it was a good taste of Fall!

Raegan even got to go into the petting zoo. She thinks any animal that stands on 4 legs is a "Dawdee" and she loves them. We thought this might be a good chance for her to learn that there are more than just dogs. She even thought the big horse was a dog. See the slideshow below...
