Snow, Aquarium & around the house

We are a little behind on our post from last week. We are already into things to discuss for this week. But for the sake of time (& time-table), I am just posting the pictures & captions that we had from last week.

Last week we had snow, Hannah took Raegan to the Aquarium and we spent time around the house. All is good... but we seem to be really, really busy lately. Hopefully things will settle down soon!

A really long post

Okay, I'm not as committed as Tony was to the weekly updates! Last week, Tony took a last minute ski trip to Maggie Valley on Sunday morning, and of course the rest of us woke up with colds! We somehow made it to church anyway and spent the rest of the day at my parents' house. We got home late that night and I skipped the blog update. So this will be a long recap of what we missed.

Tony said the snow in Maggie Valley was good, and he had a good time snowboarding. He went with Brad and Zach (4) and Zach did ski school for the first time. This gave Tony a little taste of our future family ski trips when the kids get a little older.

On Tuesday, our niece Piper Olivia was born (Tony's bro and his wife - their 3rd child). We spent some time getting to know her in the hospital and at their house. She's a cutie! 7lbs, 7oz, 20.5 inches long.

I've got several Hudson moments to record since this is his "scrapbook" for now. If you're not a grandparent, you may not find these interesting!

Hudson has learned to clap and we think it's pretty cute! He does it when he wants attention now, and he also seems to clap for food (we're trying to teach him some basic sign language, like "more" but he just claps).

He's saying "dada" still and seems to try to say "mama" but hasn't quite gotten it yet.
His latest hobby is pushing the chairs around the kitchen. He has a certain order in which the chairs are positioned and he gets very serious about it. He gets it honest; when I first met Tony, he would straighten the bar stools in his apt. everytime I sat in one, to make sure they were in their original carpet divots. Love them both!

Hudson also enjoyed climbing the stairs in our house, until we put up the baby gate. He knows he's not supposed to do it, which makes the game so much more fun for him.

And finally, he's using the toy that's actually made for pushing around (if I give it to him - he still prefers the chairs). We have a new laptop and I haven't figured out the video editing, so this one is a little long.

Hudson has become very clingy to his mommy, which is sweet but kind of difficult if I want to get anything done around the house. I try to remind myself that I should enjoy the days when he wants to be held b/c they don't last long. He's almost as strong as me, which means I need to workout more!

The rest of our updates are captured in the slideshow below. Have a great week!
