It's our 7 yr. Wedding Anniversary!

Yep, we've been married 7 years today. I think it's been a great 7 years, and it's hard to believe how much has happened since our wedding day: lots of fun trips, two kids, two dogs, a house, a minivan...and I'm turning 30 this year! I'm proud of our little family and blessed to be married to Tony. I scanned in a wedding photo...you can tell that we got married just ahead of the digital photo craze.

We spent a relaxing weekend at the lake with Tony's parents. We went out to a new restaurant on the lake called Christopher, and Tony's parents watched Hudson and Raegan. It was really nice to have a quiet dinner together!

The weather was perfect and the water levels are up, but it was too cold for swimming. Tony and I took the boat out alone b/c Raegan was scared to ride in it! We are really hoping that she will warm up to it by our next visit. She went for several rides last year, but I think she has gained some fear along with everything else she has learned in year 2 of her life.

Granny was at the lake, too and she just celebrated her 87th birthday! Happy Birthday Granny!

You can tell spring is really here - a duck laid her eggs in one of Shirley's planters. She's been sitting on them for over a month now, so they should hatch any day. We had to put up a barrier to keep the dogs away from the eggs. It was neat to see the nest and all the down up close. I'm thinking...new pillow?

On Friday before we left for the lake, my Dad came over to hang out with us on his day off. We tried to get Raegan to go for a ride in his convertible, but again, the fear kicked in. I think if I could have gone with her she would have liked it, so we'll have to try that next time. She had fun watching the new Elmo video that Granddad brought for her, though.

I'll end this post with a funny-looking picture of Raegan and Hudson taken earlier this week at home.
